Lesson 1 Sample
You know how sometimes you have a really cool idea in your head but you’re not really sure about how to bring it out of your head and put it on paper? Well, that is what we call Planning.
In this first Module, we are going to look at how to plan out your story. Not just your story, of course, but the characters that you are dreaming up, and the setting that the story takes place in. Setting is just a word we use to describe where the story happens. This could be as simple as a house on a hill, or a beach, or a forest, or a clearing. It could be as complicated as a made-up planet as well, like Vorgoron in the Tricertic System. That’s up to you. After all, it’s your story. But it does help us to start small.
This is a sample of Lesson 1: thinking about characters and setting. I am giving it to you for free so that you can get a good idea of what to expect. Each Lesson has an accompanying video, explanations, examples and worksheets.
